Reactivating a former employee restores their access to Reflektive and resurfaces their previous data—including past performance reviews and goals—as long as the profile is matched using their original credentials.
Depending on whether your organization uses an automated HRIS sync or manages employees manually, follow the appropriate method below.
Option 1: Organizations with an Active HRIS Integration
If your organization uses an automated HRIS sync via CSV:
Update the HRIS / CSV File: Add the employee back into your source HR system or include them in the next CSV upload file.
Ingest the File: Allow the standard sync process to run, or trigger a manual ingest.
Automatic Reactivation: Once the file is successfully ingested, the user’s account will activate automatically.
Option 2: Organizations Managing Employees Manually
If your company does not use an active HRIS integration, an administrator can reactivate the employee directly within Reflektive.
Step 1: Add the Employee Record
Navigate to Admin > Employees.
Click on the Add Employee section.
Enter only the following basic details:
Full Name
Email Address: Must match the exact email address used in Reflektive prior to termination.
External ID (UUID): Include if one was assigned previously.
Important: Do not assign a manager or configure additional employee attributes during this initial creation step. These attributes should only be updated after the base profile has been re-added.
Step 2: Update Attributes & Restore History
Once the base profile is created with matching email and UUID credentials, Reflektive links the record to their previous profile, resurfacing their delivered reviews and goal history.
After the profile is active, you may proceed to assign their manager, department, title, and any other relevant attributes.
