What it means: The UUID for an existing employee was being reused or recycled. Within Reflektive, even if the employee is terminated, the UUID continues to be "blocked," and any attempt to reuse it for a new employee would result in this error message during the HRIS sync.
How to Fix It
If it's a new employee: Change their ID in your HRIS to a completely new, unused number.
If it's a returning employee (rehire): Reuse their original employee ID so Reflektive can restore their existing account instead of creating a duplicate.
