- Giving recognition, giving/requesting feedback, and saving a note have been recategorized into “Recognize someone”, “Feedback about me”, “Feedback about someone else” and “360 team feedback” feedback types.
- “Feedback about me/someone else” have been further categorized into “write” and “request” feedback actions.
- When writing feedback, share options to control who can see the feedback, with “Do not share” being what was “saving a note”.
- A “Feedback” button at home page, profile page, and feedback, providing a consistent entry point for all feedback initiation activities.
Who does this affect?
This feature can be enabled for any Reflektive customer (upon request).
Why the update?
Previously, feedback initiation activities had very disparate user experiences, requiring users to learn different interactions for functions that should be very similar. Now feedback activities are more consistent and easy to use.
Product Update
Feedback feeds are now available in the user profile, 1:1’s, and review pages.
Who does this affect?
This feature can be enabled for any Reflektive customer (upon request). This is especially useful to managers who want feedback to be part of the conversations they have with their direct reports during, for example, their 1:1’s.
Why the update?
So that you can easily refer to feedback about the employee to support the activity at hand.
Product Update
Filters on the feedback feed have been reorganized into the following categories:
- About Me / By Me

- Hashtags
- Feedback Provided By/For
- Date Range
Who does this affect?
This feature can be enabled for any Reflektive customer (upon request) and will be useful to anyone interested in listing only certain aspects of someone’s feedback feed. For example:
- All feedback provided to me in the past year, as input into my review.
- Getting an overview of an employee’s recognized contributions towards a specific project or initiative.
Why the update?
Allows you to narrow your focus to a subset of feedback posts and get just the information you need.
Product Update
Users can now add hashtags when writing or editing feedback. Hashtags can be added when:
- Writing feedback via the feedback button.
- Editing any authored feedback object in any feed.
Who does this affect?
This feature can be enabled for any Reflektive customer (upon request). Being able to add hashtags will be of interest to companies who want to promote recognition in certain areas, and the complementary filter support will allow HR and managers to check in on how individuals and teams are doing in the respective areas.
Why the update?
Previously, availability of hashtags when writing feedback and recognition could differ depending on feedback type and whether you were creating new feedback or editing an existing piece of feedback.
Product Update
Feedback can be deleted or edited by the provider any time after it is written via the feedback object in feedback feeds. Edit and delete functions are also available on the feedback page for feedback that has been saved for later.
Who does this affect?
This feature can be enabled for any Reflektive customer (upon request). This is useful to feedback providers who want to refine the feedback before sharing it with recipients, and feedback providers who need to retract or amend some feedback.
Why the update?
Feedback and share settings set during initiation are often not final, and users should be able to edit or delete feedback as needed.
Product Update
Feedback recipients can now choose to share feedback they've received with others.
Who does this affect?
This feature can be enabled for any Reflektive customer (upon request).
Why the update?
This feature gives feedback recipients the option to share feedback with others. For example, the feedback writer may have opted to share feedback with the recipient only, and this feature allows the recipient to then share it with their manager.
Product Update
The Received Feedback section has been removed from the Feedback page.
Who does this affect?
This feature can be enabled for any Reflektive customer (upon request).
Why the update?
The Received Feedback section has been removed from the Feedback page in order to focus that page on current feedback rather than completed items. Completed feedback items can now be found on the feedback provider / feedback recipient's Profile page by setting the filters appropriately.
