We'll be going over new features, updates, and improvements to Reflektive below. These features and fixes were live as of 10/30/19. General Availability means that all accounts can enable and use the features immediately, and Beta means that the features are rolled out to a selection of willing participants first before it is ready for General Availability.
Slack Integration General Enhancements (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
All customers already using the Slack Integration will enjoy these enhancements
Why the update?
Our overall goal between the Reflektive product suite is to unify and standardize the experience as much as possible across all our products. With Slack, we wanted to achieve as much parity between our Slack integration and our existing public recognition workflows. The enhancements are listed below:
- Employee work anniversaries will now display in the channel where public recognition from Reflektive is piped to.
- The integration now supports images. The formats: PNG/JPG/JPEG/GIFs.
- We now show the avatar list of senders and receivers.
- Rich text formatting has been improved; we now support bold, italics, underscore, links, and more.
1:1 Conversations General Enhancements (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
All customers will enjoy these 1:1 Conversations General Enhancements
Why the update?
While we received a lot of input from our beta users of the 1:1 Conversations product, we're still getting great feedback from them as well as newer users that we're excited to implement.
The enhancements are listed below:
- A new 1:1s tab will now appear on the top navigation bar if 1:1 Conversations is enabled. This is something you can toggle on or off.
- Rich text editing has been improved. You will see a list of commands as you are creating/editing your 1:1 agenda topic content.
- We now have insights for managers. New insights will appear for managers who haven't started a 1:1 with their direct report to help increase usage of the tool. It will say something similar to, "You haven't set up your 1:1 with Andy" with two action buttons accompanying the message: "Start 1:1" and "Dismiss".
Teams Creation Update (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
Any customer who has the ability to create/manage/update teams will experience this update.
Why the update?
With the previous release of Teams, all employees were able to create teams and edit teams that they were part of. This was potentially problematic, as if there are few guidelines in place, things could get disorganized. Now, the default is set so that only administrators have the ability to create teams or can edit members of team, with the option to toggle things so that all employees can create teams or edit members of teams they are part of. To change this toggle, please contact support@reflektive.com or your Customer Success Manager.
Engagement Surveys - Send Survey Link & Export Questions (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
All customers using the Engagement Surveys tool will enjoy this enhancement
Why the update?
Our Engagement survey tool really helps HR admins figure out what employee sentiment is, and what can be done about it. However, that first step of getting them to fill out that form can be a barrier, especially if an employee isn't trained on or have built the habit of regularly logging into the platform.
Now, admins can directly copy a link to a specific survey and send it out to other channels - Slack and Email immediately come to mind as viable channels to use to drive up completion rates. It helps keep the action top of mind, and not something they have to manually perform multiple steps for in order to reach the survey form.
To access the link, go to the Engagement Surveys section, and click on the overflow menu (...) to find the Send Link item.
Clicking on that will pop open a window, which contains a generated link that you can send to your employees so they can directly go to the survey. Click Copy Link and paste it wherever you see fit.
Additionally, you can export your Engagement Survey questions after you've completed them in the first step (1. Design Survey) of the survey builder.
We added exporting for easier viewing and sharing of questions. Questions will be exported in .csv format with the following columns:
- Question Number
- Factor
- Question Text
- Question Type (free_text, rating, multiple_choice)
- Question Options (comma separated list of rating options, for example [1,2,3,4,5] or [“Yes”,”No”] )
