We'll be going over new features, updates, and improvements to Reflektive below. These features and fixes are live as of 9/19/19. General Availability means that all accounts can enable and use the features immediately, and Beta means that the features are rolled out to a selection of willing participants first before it is ready for General Availability.
1:1 Conversations Improvements (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
All customers already using 1:1 Conversations will see these enhancements.
Why the update?
As 1:1 Conversations are already live, we've been able to hear some feedback from our customers in regards to general usability.
The main section is now organized by "Next Meeting" and "Discussed Topics". You can click, drag, re-order any of the existing topic boxes within each section, or even between sections. Additionally, the right-hand pane now shows more relevant information that can help you prepare for a better 1:1 experience.
A closer look at the topic boxes. You can now add comments and expand the box to see the comments thread.
On the far right-hand menu, you are now able to click the ... (overflow menu) to either dismiss a recommended action, or get taken to the section of the Reflektive web application where you can fulfill said action.
Benchmarks for Engagement Surveys (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
All customers will have access to benchmarks now.
Why the update?
Now, our customers can use engagement benchmarks within our People Intelligence tool to identify corporate strengths and engagement hot-spots with easy comparisons against relevant benchmarks. Benchmarks enable you to see current performance, benchmark performance, and the delta between the two metrics, all with the benefit of being able to visualization aspects of it (tables, bar charts, and line charts).
All reports will have a new Benchmarks tab at the top right, with the exception of Attributes reports.
When looking at a report, you'll see the benchmarks tab. In this example, you'll see that an internal benchmark is being used, and the user has selected to measure the data against existing data.
You can also:
- Track internal progress by viewing year-over-year trends
- Import data from any source to view the right benchmarks for your organization
- View Reflektive’s industry benchmarks to compare your engagement scores versus those of direct competitors

Internal Benchmarks: Compares your own company to a past measure of your own company
- Available for all products
- Benchmarks can be company-wide comparing to a previous data-set, department-specific, or location specific
External Benchmarks: Compares your own company to something outside of your Reflektive instance, either a standard global benchmark that Reflektive will have (ie engagement surveys across this industry), or a company’s benchmarks that were imported from a previous survey that was done outside of Reflektive.

Action Plans for Engagement Reports (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
All customers will enjoy this enhancement.
Why the update?
Action Plans are meant to drive initiatives forward by allowing admins to create targeted plans (goals) to improve employee engagement. Because we're leveraging the goals platform, admins are able to assign action items to the right person, whether they are on your own team or in another global office, in order to drive successful completion and follow-through.
- In “Favorability of Responses” Engagement reports, admins (and managers, if they have access) can create an “Action Plan” (e.g., a goal) to take action based on engagement results
- Actions plans are visible in the table view and the heatmap
- Action plans will be goals created and assigned to:
- Manager - can assign to direct reports and to yourself
- Admins - can assign an action plan (aka goal) based on permissions
When you view Engagement Survey Reports within People Intelligence, you'll see a new Actions column, where you can click on Create Action Plan, which will pop up a Goals Modal.

Engagement Comments Insights - Natural Language Processing (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
All customers now see additional data fields in Engagement reports within People Intelligence.
Why the update?
After sending out an Engagement Survey, there can be a staggering amount of information that one has to sift through after the results and comments come back in. How can you easily determine key words, trends, and general sentiment beyond the hard survey numbers and when you get deep into the comments portion of things?
You'll be able to save hours of manual sifting pulling instant insights from your engagement survey comments using our new Natural Language Processing (NLP) tool. With it, you can:
- Easily identify key engagement themes and sentiment
- Surface corporate strengths and areas of opportunity outside of survey questions for more nuanced insights
In Engagement reports, admins (and managers, if they have access) can quickly view survey comment themes and sentiments. These will be automatically visible in the Attributes of Survey Responses and Number of Comments reports.

You can add groupings: Comment Themes and Comment Sentiment (see groupings section in the bottom right.)
Again, like all of our release, please let us know if you have any questions, or would like any of these features enabled if you don't have it on yet!
