We'll be going over new features, updates, and improvements to Reflektive below. These features and fixes are live as of 6/27/19. General Availability means that all accounts can enable and use the features immediately, and Beta means that the features are rolled out to a selection of willing participants first before it is ready for General Availability.
Filtering Real-Time Feedback on the Review Survey Form (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
Any customers who have opted into the new review form will automatically get this enhancement.
Why the update?
When filling out check-in/reviews, users currently have right-hand sidebar that displays past reports and any received Real-Time Feedback, which are meant to better inform them on achievements and wins they've collected over time.
With the addition of filters, users can now filter RTF by sender (everyone, peers, managers, yourself), date range, and hashtag
Now, users can fight recency bias while saving time so that they can bring their best foot forward with future check-ins and reviews.
Deleting Reviews on the Review Tracker List (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
Review creators AND master administrators will have the ability to delete reviews.
Why the update?
Managing a check-in/review cycle from the reviews dashboard can become an administrative burden, especially if your company conducts several in tandem, or just does a lot of them in a given year. And more often than not, review admins would launch test cycles, leaving them on the list as they themselves do not have the ability to delete them.
Review admins frequently reach out to Reflektive Support to get unwanted cycles cleaned up, which ends up being a time-intensive process.
A new ability appears for specific review administrators - you can now delete review cycles.
A confirmation message pops up to help prevent unintentional deletions. This cannot be undone, so make sure this is the action you want to take.
Question Linking on Review Builder (General Availability)
Who does this affect?
Review cycle creators will have access to this new feature, but question linking does impact the review cycle itself and the view that managers have.
Why the update?
We've had many of our customers ask for the ability to link questions to support the use of multiple pronouns, so it's clear to the reviewer who they're providing feedback about. Now, this ability appears directly within Review Builder - when creating a question, you can go into Advanced Options and then Link questions to a specific value.
New Goals Interface (Beta, update)
Who does this affect?
Customers who have opted in to participate in the beta AND have the newer goals features.
Why the update?
In our last release (5/16), we introduced the New Goals Interface as an alpha. A small group was selected to test out the feature and to provide us with some feedback. That release had an improved information hierarchy, which helped users understand and retain goals, along with their progress, in a more intuitive way. Finally, the layout also builds on all the other recent goals improvements that were released: the pop-up modal, all the new statuses, and timeline.
Now, the New Goals interface will be opening up to a larger beta audience. If you want to see it in action, please contact your Customer Success Manager to enable the feature for you.
Once enabled, you'll be able to yourself toggle between the existing goals interface with the new goals interface with a click of a button.
The toggle, denoted by a * icon.
All data and filters present in the current view is preserved when you switch into the new goals interface. Below, you'll see the the direction of which we're bringing the goals interface. As this is a beta, not all functionality is yet included.
Finally, if you want to revert back to the old goals view, you can click on the "..." icon shown here and click Switch back to old goals view.
Again, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to enable the ability for you to access the New Goals UI. Feedback is always appreciated.
1:1 Conversations Enhancements (Beta, update)
Who does this affect?
The 1:1 Conversations tool came out as a beta in the last release (5/16). Anyone who opted in as an early adopter will get these enhancements. If you would like to access this feature early, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Why the update?
In the last release, 1:1s were only available between managers and their direct reports. You will now be able to have 1:1s with ANYONE at your company. Also, the UI and language has been polished as well.
- You can now search for people beyond your manager/direct reports in the Searchbar. This is very handy, especially when you want to work cross-functionally with someone, connect with a mentor, and more.
- Conversation Starters are meant to guide employees who aren't quite sure how to facilitate effective talking points with overlooked topics. Two topics were introduced with the last release: Career and Coaching. Each topic came with template questions that can help move the conversation along in the way you want. With this release, we're adding Team and Company - This allows employees to think beyond themselves and to get better visibility and alignment with team, department, or company vision and goals.
- Email Notifications are now connected to 1:1 meetings. You will be able to opt out on a per-user basis, as well as control them on an individual level via email preferences.
- Finally, Actions on Conversations are also getting an upgrade. When an employee is on an individual 1:1 conversation page, the right-hand pane will display a feed of suggested actionable items that you can either dismiss or bring into a 1:1.
Namely Packaged Connector (HRIS) (Beta)
Who does this affect?
Any customer who is currently using Namely and would like to be able to import their employee demographic information into Reflektive can enable this direct integration.
Why the update?
Reflektive has been working on numerous integrations in order to accommodate customers on a variety of HRIS systems, and Namely has been identified as a frequent ask. Now, it is easy to import customer information out of the box instead of doing manual imports.
