Reflektive Outlook Plugin Update

Outlook PC (planned 8/13 release):

The most performant, stable Outlook PC desktop plugin in the history of Reflektive

Highlights:

UX improvements (i.e., focusing, hot key, load times, etc.)
Performance and stability improvements (i.e., disabled email pop-outs as default, dynamic panes to prevent disabling, etc.)
Deployment improvements: central upgrades for v115 and beyond; previous versions will require central uninstall

Recall: this is technically challenging -- we are forcing Outlook PC to host a web browser. Very unnatural. Big technical hurdle, but also why with these improvements, we have a material competitive advantage.

Rebuttal to competitors: No competitor has a functional Outlook PC desktop version.

Release plan (to work with Sunil and Oscar):

1. Deprecate Outlook PC “Legacy” starting Monday 8/27; CSMs to inform individual affected customers of this with new version ready

1. Convey significant value created with this release
2. communicate deprecation target 8/27 with next version and
3. Push central deployment recommendation

If on pre v115, email:

1. Convey significant value created with this release
2. communicate deprecation immediately for next version
3. Caveat v115 must be fully purged for subsequent versions to upgrade
4. Push central deployment recommendation

If post v115, email:

1. Convey significant value created with this release
2. Push central deployment recommendation

3. Download page to be updated 8/13 release
4. Update KC articles where relevant
5. All CS to flag any bugs or improvements specific to this release
