Recognition is not only easy to configure, but it also helps promote your company's values and provides a platform for timely praise, coaching, and employee engagement. Here are the configuration items to keep in mind as you work with your Customer Success Manager.
Public Recognition Wall
Name your public recognition wall something that will resonate with your company culture. Popular names amongst our customers include "Recognition Wall," "Kudos", "Recognition," and "Shoutouts."
Recognition appears in two locations out of the box - on your Home Tab, and in your Recognition tab (if enabled - you can see that at Reflektive, we call our Public Recognition Wall "Shoutouts").
On the Home tab, you'll see Recognition appear below Your Actions. Activity can be sorted by Company, Location, Department, or Team. Think of this as more of a summary view of recognition.
If enabled, the Recognition tab can show all recognition from your company. This is a more comprehensive view of recognition.
Core Value Hashtags
Pre-populate hashtags with your company's core values and encourage engagement around these values across the organization. Your employees will be able to see these values in their email workflow or directly on the Recognition Wall. When an employee is recognized for certain core values, it helps managers understand where the employee truly excels.
It's best to circle up with your leadership team to discuss which values are important to you if they haven't already been defined yet so that each hashtag you create has both weight and value for your company.
Recommendation: keep the hashtags relatively short (just a word or two), and without any special characters in them (+, -, /, etc). We recommend having five or fewer hashtags so that your employees can remember them all.
Peer Bonuses
The Reflektive Peer Bonus program allows employees to proactively recognize their peers by giving each other points, which can be redeemed for monetary rewards or additional recognition. You can send someone thanks and associate points to the thanks (monetary or other values). We'll tailor the system to fit your needs and your budget, and enabling the feature comes at no additional cost.
Work Anniversaries (Workversaries)
Work Anniversaries are a great way to celebrate the years of service an employee has contributed to your company. Reflektive defaults to enabling Workversary posts to bring awareness of service to your company.
Within the Real-Time Feedback wall, Reflektive will automatically post a Workversary post if an employee has a start day that matches the day's date.
It looks like this:
The Work Anniversary text always defaults to Congratulate 'employee' for celebrating a 'x_year' workversary! #Anniversary.
If there are multiple Work Anniversary posts happening on the same day, the posts get aggregated into one post, as shown above.
When employees write a comment on a Workversary Post, a single email notification will aggregate all comments and send an email at the end of the day (5 pm PST) to the employee celebrating the Workversary.
If you'd rather not display these Workversary posts, please contact support@reflektive.com and cc your Customer Success Manager.
