The Tango Gift Card is a great option if you want to give your employees a way to redeem their points earned through Recognition. When considering options for global workforces, please note that Tango Card does not have a GDPR sub-processor relationship with Reflektive (and should not be used if GDPR is a requirement for your organization).
If enabled and configured, your employees will be able to go through the below workflow:
1. Once a peer gives you points, you'll be able to redeem them! Note that your giveable points difference (100 pts) in this example are NOT the same as your redeemable points (25 pts) in this example). Thus, there are only 25 available points for redemption.
2. Once the user clicks on the "Rewards" tab, one can select various rewards.
Or, for international employees, their eligible currency code will return a curated list for their location on the rewards page. Below is an example of a UK based employee's selection.
3. The available increments you can redeem the card for are usually something the administrator sets. The below increments of 1, 2, and 3 are only an example; the amounts can be set to anything the administrator likes (Typically, common increments are $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, etc)
4. Once you make your reward value selection, you will see what your new points balance is as well as the below notification that your reward is coming via email.
5. Next is activating and redeeming your card! Follow the instructions in the email to get what you want.
