This will occur after 5/15/19
Who does this affect?
Reflektive will only support web connections using Transport Layer Security (TLS) v1.2, beginning on May 15th, 2019. Any integration which is connecting to Reflektive using TLS v1.0 will no longer function as of May 15th, so please ensure that any integration under your control is using TLS version 1.2. TLS version 1.1 will still work, but it is strongly recommended that you utilize TLS 1.2+.
Background
Network security architecture relies on the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol for ensuring user interaction with Reflektive over the internet occurs securely without transmissions being vulnerable to outside entities. TLS encrypts a channel between two endpoints (for example, between a web browser and web server) to provide privacy and reliability of data transmitted over the communications channel. The primary benefit of TLS is the protection of web application data from unauthorized disclosure and modification when it is transmitted between clients (web browsers) and the web application server, and between the web application server and back end or other non-browser based enterprise components.
Checking for TLS 1.2 Compatibility
There are a number of web resources available to the public for checking your client and server compatibility with TLS 1.2. The Qualys SSL Labs site provides such tools:
Note: If you are unable to reach the SSL Labs sites listed above, check with your IT team to verify that the www.ssllabs.com domain is appropriately whitelisted in your environment.
