Overview
As a new Reflektive user, the first thing you should be able to do is to log in. You can achieve this by either using a Native Password, Google (OAuth), or a Single-Sign On provider (like Okta, OneLogin, Microsoft AD FS/Azure, and more).
We will go over each login flow, along with some troubleshooting tips below.

Native Passwords
The traditional way for a user to log into Reflektive would be to use a Native Password. This is where the user provides an e-mail address and password that they had previously set to enter the system.
If you are brand new to Reflektive, you will have to set your password by clicking on the "Forgot Password or New User?" link. Within 5 – 10 minutes, you’ll get an email with the subject line: “Reset password instructions” from support@reflektive.com
Troubleshooting
-
If you do not quickly receive an email from Reflektive:
- Check your spam filters and search for the email sender "support@reflektive.com"
- Contact your organization's email administrator for troubleshooting suggestions - have they white-listed Reflektive’s IP addresses? If not, check this guide and scroll down towards the bottom.
-
Confirm you are using the correct login credentials:
It’s common for users to have multiple aliases associated with a single account. For example, within his company email account, John Smith at WidgetCompany receives emails sent to:- john@widgetcompany.com or
- jsmith@widgetcompany.com or
- john.smith@widgetcompany.com (primary email address)
If you are unsure if you are inputting your primary account information, please contact your HR or IT administrator.
-
Confirm your user credentials have been created within Reflektive:
When users join an organization profiles are not created automatically. In order to confirm your user profile has been created please reach out to your HR administrator.
Google/OAuth
A convenient way for a user to sign into Reflektive is to use the "Log in Using Google" button. This only works if your company is using the G Suite system (Google's cloud-based business platform) to manage employee emails which are all GMail based.
After you click on the "Log in Using Google" button, you will be directed to a profile selection pop-up. Pick the one you use for work. If you do not see the correct e-mail address there, click on "Use another account" and then input the correct credentials.

If you encounter an error or cannot access Reflektive, please contact your HR Administrator/IT team to check to see that your e-mail address, and correct alias, is authorized to access Reflektive via your Google account.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
There's a good chance that your company's IT team is using a Single Sign-On provider (eg: Okta, OneLogin, Bitium, Microsoft AD FS, Azure, and more) to make accessing a variety of applications easier for their employees. If you are on OneLogin/Okta, you will see that when you enter your e-mail address in the "email" field, the "Log in" button automatically updates to "Log in with OneLogin" or "Log in with Okta."
If your company is using something else (likely Microsoft AD FS, Azure, and other SAML 2.0 solutions), then entering your e-mail address in the "email" field will update the "Log in" button to "Log in with Single Sign-on." Clicking on that screen will take you to your actual SSO provider's login screen, where you will have to enter your credentials. Once authenticated, you'll be redirected to Reflektive!
Troubleshooting
- Unfortunately, SSO services do not work with Reflektive when using email address aliases. While it is common for users to have multiple aliases associated with a single account, Reflektive can ONLY recognize one of these addresses. For example, within his work email account, John Smith at WidgetCompany receives emails sent to:
- john@widgetcompany.com or
- jsmith@widgetcompany.com or
- john.smith@widgetcompany.com (primary email address)
That would mean that Single Sign-On would ONLY work if John Smith used john.smith@widgetcompany.com with Reflektive.
