If the Reflektive for Outlook plugin was disabled by Outlook, due to decreased performance beyond a certain threshold or because it caused Outlook to crash, you should be able to enable following these steps.
- From Outlook, click File and then choose Info.
- There should be a Manage Add-Ins option toward the bottom of the screen.
- After clicking on Manage Add-Ins, you will see this.
- Locate Reflektive for Outlook, and click "Always enable this add-in"
- You may see the Reflektive for Outlook plug-in listed twice, please click "Always enable this add-in" for both.
If you do not see the Reflektive for Outlook plug-in listed in on this page (or do not see the Manage Add-ins option). Please use the instructions below to enable Reflektive for Outlook.
- Outlook File > Options.
- Select Add ins.
- Look for Reflektive in either the Inactive or Disabled Application Add-ins. If disabled, select Disabled Items from the Manage dropdown.
- Click the Reflektive for Outlook plug-in and click Enable.
- Restart Outlook.
- Outlook File > Options.
- Select Add-ins (Reflektive for Outlook will now show under Inactive Application Add-ins)
- Choose COM Add-ins from the Manage dropdown and click Go

Check to enable the Reflektive for Outlook plug-in and click OK
- Restart Outlook.
- A restart of your machine may be required. Outlook cache's some of its plug-ins between restarts of Outlook. Restarting your computer and then launching Outlook will reload the Reflektive for Outlook plug-in.
Advanced Troubleshooting:
If you've followed these steps and Outlook continues to get disabled, or doesn't re-enable, please follow these steps. It is highly recommended you have your organization's IT professionals guide you through these steps:
- Quit Outlook and uninstall the “Reflektive for Outlook” plugin from Control Panel(Add/Remove Programs, or Programs and Features depending on your Windows version).
- Open the registry (run regedit.exe)
- Navigate to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Resiliency (You may need to change 16.0 to another number based on your version of Office. 15.0 for Outlook 2013, 14.0 for Outlook 2010, 13.0 for Outlook 2007, etc.)
- Remove the REG_BINARY keys found in DisabledItems and CrashingAddinList
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
- Remove the ReflektiveOutlookPlugin key
- Reinstall the Reflektive plugin for Outlook and then open Outlook and see if it is enabled on the calendar tab.
